OFG - Many thanks to XOCEAN and their client for including OFG and our Self-Compensating Magnetometer (SCM) systems on this interesting project in the Gulf of Mexico. Magnetic processing for the real-time identification of the buried pipe location was provided remotely by OFG from Vancouver – a first with the XOCEAN Unmanned Survey Vessel!
XOCEAN - Unmanned pipeline survey in the Gulf of Mexico, mobilising out of Port Arthur, Texas. Operating 24/7, XOCEAN’s XO-450 completed the mission in 3.5 days using multibeam, side scan, sub bottom and magnetometer.
