Ocean Floor Geophysics is pleased to announce the start of a cooperative relationship with Fukada Marine to market and operate the 3000m depth rated ISE Explorer Class AUV "Plume Hunter" outside Japan. The AUV is equipped to explore for SMS deposits, with precision multibeam, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, water column samplers and magnetometers. It is also suitable for other deep water applications such as pipeline route surveys, gas hydrate surveys, gas seep detection, and geotechnical hazard mapping. The vehicle is also suitable for the integration of other customer specified sensors.
